Cheese Stuffed Garlic Biscuits That Will Melt In Your Mouth
Cheese Stuffed Garlic Biscuits
If you’re a bread lover of any kind, you’ll love this cheese stuffed garlic biscuit recipe. While different biscuit choices will rise to various degrees, you’ll still get an incredible result no matter which dough you choose. The gooey cheese and warm buttery flavors pair well with any meal. Or, if you’re like us, we enjoy them as an anytime snack!
Here’s What You’ll Need for Your Cheese Stuffed Garlic Biscuits:
Ingredients:
- 1 can southern style biscuits or flaky biscuits (our favorites)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or favorite cheese
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 ½ tbsp minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Preparing Your Cheese Stuffed Garlic Biscuits:
- Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Cut each biscuit in half and gently flatten each one out just a bit.
- Place biscuits on backing sheet, pie tin, or cast iron skillet a few inches apart and top with shredded cheese.
- Gently wrap the edges of the biscuits around the cheese, tucking into a ball with cheeses fully enclosed.
- In a small dish, mix your melted butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Brush on top of each roll.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
- Extra step: Remove from oven, sprinkle with a bit of cheeses, and bake another 2 minutes.
- Brush a bit more garlic butter on each biscuit while cooling.
Pairing Your Cheese Stuffed Garlic Biscuits
While the kids and I enjoy these with any meal, our favorite recipe to serve them with is chicken parmesan. If you haven’t had a chance to try the air fryer chicken parmesan recipe yet, take a peek at how easy it is to prepare. The chicken stays incredibly tender and your cheese stuffed garlic biscuits will make the perfect addition to the meal!
We also like to have extra garlic butter to use as a dipping sauce for the biscuits. Just double the recipe and you’ll be set if you’re lucky enough to have any leftover stuffed biscuits.
We’d love to hear how your biscuits turn out and what you pair them with!
