Buffalo Chicken Rollups
The kids are on summer break and it’s the perfect time for fun finger foods and cooking with the kids and grandkids! Rollups are quick and easy for kids of all ages to make. With pre-made dough and their favorite toppings to layer inside, it’s just like a pizza loaf! We were in the mood for something zesty, so this week we made buffalo chicken rollups for lunch.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Ingredients For Buffalo Chicken Rollups:
- 1 can Pillsbury Pizza Dough or Croissant Dough
- 1-5oz can chicken
- 1 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees (I used croissant dough and a dark pan).
- Carefully unroll dough and separate in half.
- Coat the dough with hot sauce.
- Mix mayo, hot sauce, and chicken in a small bowl. Spread onto the first 2/3’s of the dough.
- Sprinkle cheese over the mixture.
- Loosely roll the buffalo chicken rollup.
- Place in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing and serving!
Create Your Own Rollups
The best part about this buffalo chicken rollup recipe is the flexibility to create your own! Set out a buffet of toppings for the kids and grandkids to jump in and create whatever they’re craving. Think of their favorite pizza toppings and let them have fun.
We’ve experimented with veggie rollups, all meats, and even a variety of cheeses. You can also play around with different sauces, including making a chicken alfredo rollup!
We can’t wait to hear what you try!
