A Quick Chip ‘n Dip Recipe
Whether you’re looking for a quick snack, a side dish for an event, or game day munchie, this tangy chicken dip will be a hit. I throw together a bowl for the kids to snack on when dinner is going to take a while. It’s so simple to make in a pinch if an unexpected guest drops by or you’re running low on birthday party sides dishes. While I also love various versions of this dip, you just can’t beat 10 minutes to taste bud heaven.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Ingredients:
- 10 oz canned chicken
- 1/2 cup of your favorite hot sauce (I’m a Frank’s fan)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 4 oz plain cream cheese
- Bag of your favorite chips or crackers
Preparation:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chicken, hot sauce, butter, and cream cheese.
- Mix together while breaking up the larger chicken chunks.
- Microwave the mixture for 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Add in the shredded cheese.
- Microwave for another 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Mix well and serve with chips or crackers.
And that’s it! Simple. Satisfying. Seriously delicious!
Tip:
For a low-fuss, extra-large batch, double the recipe and toss your ingredients into your instant pot (excluding cheese). You can even use a pound of chicken breast in place of canned chicken. I love how tender chicken breast is when I use my instant pot. Pressure cook on high for 12 minutes, then quick release. Stir in your cheese and serve!
