Be Organized this School Year with Great Organizational Tools
Be organized this school year
Who else wishes they were more organized? I can do a lot of things but being organized is not in my top ten (maybe not top 50) attributes.
Maybe that’s why when my daughter (who is organized) bought a piece of unassembled furniture and put it together herself (something else I can’t do) this great organizational tool I was amazed. Why didn’t I have one of these when all 5 of our children were young and in school. It would have made my life so much easier!
Then I was scrolling through a grandparent group on Facebook I belong to and I saw the next photo.
The grandmother who shared this is raising 4 grandchildren with special needs (hats off to grandparents who raise grandchildren!) and she created the book shelf on the right for their clothes. She said, “Weekly school clothes are color coded Monday-Friday and cubbies for shoes, book-bags, jackets and school papers.”
I also saw this photo in the same group.
The grandmother who shared this said that when her grands come in the door they have to put their socks in this mesh bag. She washes them in the bag. This way she prevents some germs from coming into the house and never loses a sock to the Sock Monster!
I loved this idea so much I sent it to my daughter and now I’m sharing with you.
One more idea I read from a mom of 3. “Instead of putting my kids to bed in pajamas I dress them for the next day. I make sure and buy clothes that don’t wrinkled. Then when they wake up they are ready to go except for socks and shoes.”
