Bacon and Pork Chop Tips
I chose to cook with thinly sliced pork chops. If your pork chops are thicker cuts, make sure to add a few minutes of baking time. Check the center for doneness – 140 degrees, and a slight pink is good to go. You’ll also want to use regular sliced bacon versus thick cuts, simply to help your strips crisp up in a timely manner. Leaving them to broil too long may dy out your pork chops.
Side Dishes for Your Savory Bacon-Wrapped Pork Chops
We love pork chops with a loaded baked potato and side of stuffing. The pairings are ideal and make for a good, hearty dinner. We’ve also enjoyed the leftovers with a side of spicy BBQ sauce for dipping. It enhances the spice and adds a delicious smokey flavor you’ll love!
