4th of July Shenanigans
4th of July Shenanigans
Last week was the wedding and this week was supposed to be recovery but things rarely ever slow down around here. What few blueberries we have on the farm (due to late frost) decided to ripen and need to be picked this week. Between that and grandchildren it ended up being a busy week.
It’s been sweltering hot and steamy in Kentucky so the grand littles played in the pool.
They had a sleep over at my daughter’s house and had so much fun! Cousins are the best!
They rode bikes and enjoyed being out doors even though it was hot.
Sunday my sister-in-law had us over for lunch. This woman knows how to cook!
There was a dessert table in another room. It was so good and we ate so much that we skipped supper. I do believe she cooks more than most restaurants serve!
I hope you had a Happy 4th of July and a good, safe holiday.
