Wedding Bells in Kentucky!

Wedding Bells

My son married the girl of his dreams this weekend and it was such a happy occasion. We love our new daughter-in-law and feel blessed to welcome her to the family!

I should warn you that I made literally hundreds of pictures. Don’t worry I won’t share them all with you but I have to share several so you will see how beautiful it was!

Aren’t these gorgeous? The jars belonged to my grandmother and the flowers were donated by Cherie. Arrangement and bows by Rachel and Christie. Special thanks to Christie (she’s so artistic) for helping with so many behind the scenes events. And this was one of the tables for the Brides Maid’s Brunch. Thank you Kelly for the tons of delicious food and the use of your home!

The names of the Bride and Groom greeted us when we arrived at the Brides Maid’s Brunch.

This is Courtney as she gets ready to go to the wedding. Isn’t her dress gorgeous?

The bride’s little brother with one of my granddaughters announcing that his sister is about to come down the aisle.

Wedding Bells were ringing!

The bride arrived in a horse drawn carriage and then my son and his bride left the wedding together in the carriage.

The grands loved the horse and petted its nose for as long as I would let them.

The same preacher who married us 40 years ago this August, married my son and his bride.

Don’t they look happy? It was a beautiful wedding and we are still floating on air!

My dad was a farmer and sold farm equipment. I wish he could have seen Russell and Courtney’s wedding. The bride and groom used one of Dad’s old tractors to pull the wagon with the wedding party on board. Courtney wore a pair of my mom’s earrings and carried my grandmother’s handkerchief around her bouquet. I felt honored that they included those things in their wedding.

I just don’t think it could have been more beautiful.

This is one of my favorite photos of the two of them. It makes a mom’s heart so happy to see her children happy!

This was the groom’s cake. So appropriate for my farmer son!

You can see her kind soul in her eyes. Just love her sweetness!

Thank you for looking at our photos! I appreciate you!
