Sunshine Makes Me Happy, How about you?

Sunshine made John Denver happy and it does me, too. After several months of gray and an ice storm that lasted way too long for my liking, I’m ready for spring.

Sometimes the best days aren’t planned. They just happen. Saturday the sun was shining and we invited all the grandchildren to the farm. It was a very good day.

The babies enjoyed sunshine, bugs and grass!

These two cousins don’t mind the age difference. They love being together!

The boys brought their bikes and loved all the open space to ride.

I don’t think these three are ready for the rowing team yet, but they had fun.

Fishing. Boating. Biking. Picking flowers. No screens! Happy Nana!

Just the sort of day to break out the paddle boat for the first time this year.

Sunshine has the ability to brighten our spirits and when we combine sunshine and grandchildren it’s a definite win for the Nana team!

I added John Denver for you, just in case it’s been awhile since you listened to him sing. The words to this song fit perfectly with our day. John Denver said these words in his song but I think it would be okay with him if I dedicated this tiny part of his song to my grandchildren.
