Tips for Homemade Egg Drop Soup Preparation
I’ve found that my eggs have more of that restaurant look if I use a spoon without slots. I tend to get larger chunks of eggs when stirring the eggs into the boiling broth with a slotted spoon, so have switched to using non-slotted. Of course, it’s all preference!
We also love adding just a touch of soy sauce to our bowls of egg drop soup. It gives an extra hint of flavor. Alternatively, you can use a dab of sriracha hot chili sauce to spice it up! My personal favorite!
