Helpful Tips

Over the years, I’ve developed a few tips I use to make the cake balls as easy and tasty as possible.

  • If you don’t have frosting decorating materials handy, use a small sandwich bag and snip off a tiny portion of the bottom corner. Fill your bag with some melted chocolate and start drizzling!
  • Keep a small amount of heavy whipping cream nearby and use sparingly if your chocolate becomes too think. It’s an easy way to help thin it out a bit while keeping it creamy.
  • Use coffee mugs to heat your chocolate wafers in. And if you have an electric skillet or large stove top pan, fill it with roughly two inches of water and set on the lowest heat setting. Set your mugs of chocolate in the water and still occasionally to melt. This will cut down on extra time you would normally spend running back and forth to the microwave. It’s pretty handy. Just keep an eye on little hands.

These are delicious for snacks, birthdays, showers, and office parties. Decorate them to match any event! We can’t wait to hear what fun ideas you create!

Happy Baking!
