Back Rub and A Prayer
Last night’s conversation with my five year old GRANDdaughter….
Nana: “Do you like back rubs, Abby?” I asked as I rubbed her back.
Abby: “Yes, nana.”
Nana: “I used to rub your daddy’s back when he was a little boy. I would tuck him in and I would listen to his prayers.”
Abby: “Did he pray for me?”
Nana: “He didn’t know you yet.”
I could tell by the look on her face she didn’t understand how there could be a time when her father wouldn’t know her.
Her earthly father might not have known her before she was born, but I know someone who did.

That picture is so beautiful and I love the verse. 🙂
Following Valentine’s Day, I wrote a blog post about couples who have been together for a long time. One of the men told about how he rubbed his wife’s back each night before they went to sleep. I thought that was so sweet!
