Prayer of Thanksgiving and Action

The following prayer is one spoken by Shaun Groves in Kenya. He posted it in his newsletter (which I subscribe to) and it touched my heart. I don’t think he’d mind me sharing it with you. Hope not!  By the way you can meet Shaun at www.shuangroves.com

Thank you for my daily bread. Through me, feed those who are hungry.

Thank you for a body and mind that work. Through me, heal those who are broken.

Thank you for loving me when I was your enemy. Through me, love my enemies.

Thank you that someone told me the story of Christ’s death and resurrection. Through me, tell the world.

Amen.

Isn’t that a beautiful prayer? Thank you, Shaun, and thank you God that Shaun shared the prayer with me.

I pray for the same things and hope to make this prayer a daily one.
