A Sweet birthday party and a beautiful granddaughter’s prom
There are weekends when I feel like life has almost returned to normal and this last weekend was one of them. Of course normal for us is just a day without a catastrophe. I just love a good old boring day! This busy weekend wasn’t boring though!
Sharing some photos of our oldest granddaughter’s prom and our six year old granddaughter’s birthday. The funny thing about the cake is we are still finding blue icing everywhere, on my white blouse, on the table and chairs, on my fingers (even though I’ve washed my hands). It’s a cake that just keeps on giving!
I am so thankful and blessed. It was wonderful being able to see my oldest granddaughter all dolled up. It was a blessing to have my husband there (after his near death experience with Covid) and then to share birthday cake with sweet Ana who loved making her teeth blue with the icing!
