What is a Blog Hop?
Blog Hop
It occurred to me that many of my NanaHood friends are not bloggers (well, most of them are not) and so I thought I should explain why once a week I have a post where I say, “This is a blog hop. Please link up and leave a comment.” Almost every week for the last several years I have posted photographs to share with NanaHood viewers and other bloggers. This is the way it works. You will notice at the end of the post something that says “Link up here” or something like that. If you click on that a page will appear that you fill in the information it asks for and the link or URL of the post you are linking. Why would I do this? Because it’s a way that I can met other bloggers and they in turn, visit NanaHood. Usually we leave comments about their posts and hope they leave comments on mine. Hopefully they will like what they see and come back again! There are bloggers that have rules for their blog hops and if they do then before you can link with them you have to follow their rules. I prefer linking up with blogs like mine that host No Rules Blog Hops. It’s easier, quicker and more fun. I always visit other blogs on their list and I enjoy meeting and following new people. Most bloggers who participate have the same goals in mind; they want more visitors, follows and comments. I look forward to participating in the weekly blog hop and have made many friends over the years this way! If you are a blogger I encourage you to participate in blog hops. It’s fun and easy. All you have to do is sign up at no cost at In Linkz and follow the instructions on how to add a Blog Hop code to your site. That’s it! Now here are my pictures for this week’s Blog Hop. I usually have a theme but today’s photos are just some random pictures that I wanted to share with you.

Beautiful photos, especially the last one — the colors really pop!
Happy WW, Teresa!
I have been doing bloghops for years, they have changed over time but still the purpose has been always been the same to have fun and meet others online. Your granddaughter looks so cute in her outfit, such pretty bright colors. I first thought of pippi longstocking with the stripes.
Thanks for stopping by #OMHGWW this week
Have a wonderful week!
I agree! Fun, friends, and photos….a great combination!

I’m not sure but Matilda Jane is adorable! She does have some MJ outfits! I hope you daughter-in-law does well with it!
You too Steve!
Thank you Lydia!
That squirrel photo is gorgeous – framed in colour and the ‘subject’ so small in the surroundings. Nice!!
Cute photos especially your granddaughter heheh!
Have a bloghoptastic week 🙂
Thank you for hosting the blog hop! Is that a Matilda Jane outfit your pretty granddaughter is wearing? My daughter-in-law just began to sell their clothes. They are adorable.
Great idea for a post – I’ve had several non-blogging friends ask me this over the years – great photos as always – love those popping colors on your daughter’s shot!
