Two dog books that you aren’t going to want to miss!

A week or so ago a package arrived at my house that I wasn’t expecting. I turned it over and this is what I saw on the bottom.

Isn’t that the truth, I thought to myself! I knew it was the Year of the dog according to the Chinese Zodiac, but like the box said…..that’s every year at our house! After all, when you wake up and this face is looking at you, how could you think about anything else?

So, Bella and I opened the box to see what was inside. I was excited about W. Bruce Cameron’s new books…A Dog’s Way Home and Max’s Story. Bella was excited about the dog treats. There was also a cool leash and collapsable pet food bowl.dog booksWhich book should I read first?

Here’s the blurb on the back of A Dog’s Way Home. “With four hundred miles of dangerous Colorado wilderness separating one brave dog from her beloved person, Bella sets off on a seemingly impossible and completely unforgettable adventure home.”

Bella raised her paw to vote for that one. (Wonder why?)

Max’s Story is about a dog that figures out that his purpose is to show CJ (girl)  how to handle living in the big city. Being a native New Yorker, Max knows how to take charge, even though he’s the smallest dog at the park.

I think I’m reading that one first….I know a lot about a certain small dog with a big attitude!

While writing this I went to the kitchen and when I got back all the dog treats were gone! Wonder what happened?????

Two Great Dog Books

Before I start reading either book I’m going to walk Bella on her new leash. She needs the exercise after eating all her treats at once!
