Oh, Daddy how I wish you could see the men that our little boys grew up to be.

You would be so proud,

Of the way they live,

Of the love they give,

And the dad’s they have become.

Oh, Daddy how I wish you could see

The woman our little girl grew up to be.

The life she lives,

The loves she gives,

And the momma she has become.

My heart aches because you and mom aren’t here

for all the moments big and small

But then I remember how very much

You loved us all

And I know that love is still with me

But oh daddy and momma, how I wish that you could see.
