My Mom

My mom has been a strong Christian woman her entire life.  Her mom was a strong Christian woman as well.  In my life I have struggled to be a strong Christian woman and to live up to the legacy that I have before me.  I always say if I am half as strong as they are then I will be amazing!

Recently I have been experiencing some extremely difficult situations in my life.  My mom gave me the courage and the strength I needed to get out of the situation and has helped me learn to stand on my own two feet.  I know that we all think as we grow up that our mom doesn’t need to help us learn to walk, or stand because she already did that once.

I want my mom know that I am extremely grateful for her teaching me to stand and walk on my own every time in my life when I seem to forget.  She has always served as the beacon of hope and love guiding me on my way and back to Christ when I have chosen to drift away.  I love my mother and appreciate all of her sacrifices for me.  She is the most amazing mom and nanny that anyone could ever ask for.
