Giving Thanks for Autumn
Today I’m giving thanks for fall. Even though it was 90 degrees here today I know that cooler weather isn’t far away.
Our oldest son has been chopping fire wood and Bill has been working on getting the stove ready.
If you look closely at this picture in the background you see something yellow blooming. This is Goldenrod and I suspect it’s one of the reasons I felt so bad last week.
What started out as seasonal allergies turned into a sinus infection and sent me to the doctor. After two shots, nasal spray and two bottles of pills I am finally starting to feel better.
While I am thankful for autumn, cooler weather, a husband and son who help keep us all warm, I am not particularly fond of seasonal allergies or sinus infections!
How about you? What are you thankful for today?
I love a good massage. My neck and shoulders snap, crackle and pop!
Thanks LaVonne! Glad yours is gone and blessings to you too!
What a blessing and what wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Thanks so much for sharing!
I spent the afternoon with two daughters, one daughter in law, and all ten of my grandchildren.
We took a picnic to the park and the cousins played and played. I’m very thankful today for my healthy and happy grandchildren and for my adult children and my in law kids who all really do love one another!
I just got over a sinus infection. Not fun. 🙂
Blessings to you this week!
I’m thankful a client of my husband’s, who is a massage therapist, cannot pay his bill so is swapping off with nine massages that I have the honor of receiving. Today I had my second. I am a very blessed woman.
