So if you saw my prom blast of pics last weekend, you saw this outfit. Some peeps commented and asked about it, so we will loop it through as this week’s Frugal Fashion Friday! …and buckle up…it’s a good one! I’m not sure what my favorite part of this ensemble is. If you know me, you know I love shoes, so let’s start there.

These INC pumps have an extra somethin’-somethin’ with the cut-in interior. That’s a little extra style that, while simple, just adds a splash of class, and I love it. These shoes retail for $100 at Macy’s. Mine were $24.99!! Woo to the hoo.

This fun and funky Buckhead Bettie’s top was purchased at Heart Strings by a friend. I checked online and found comparable shirts in the $40 range. I bought this one from my pal’s Facebook clothing purge for $8, and I love it!!

The pants are my big ticket WOW item this week. Most ladies are familiar with the Lilly Pulitzer name. Amazing quality, fun patterns, and on-point trends are always found with this brand. I was thrilled when I found these pants NWT at a consignment store. $37 was a steal on these retail $158 pants! The fact the style included the words “skinny” and “mini” meant my somewhat fluffy and never mini self had to buy them. The surprise though? I was all in at $37, but when I got to the register these bad boys were $10! I know right? Like shut the front door, I heard the angels in Heaven singing “Hallelujah!” Well, that might be a slight exaggeration…maybe it was Madea shouting “Hallelujer!” Either way, I was pumped! (No shoe pun intended.) The recap— Retail? $300ish Melinda’s cost? $43ishSavings? Over 85%If you see me wearing my “Skinny Mini” pants every other day, just mind your own business LOL.

I forgot to tell you they are comfortable as all get out with a suedey feel and just enough stretch to have that glove feel, too. I was even able to limbo my way into this Corvette and keep breathing!!
