Father’s Day Crafts
These Father’s Day crafts are something you can do with your children or grandchildren on any given weekend! You don’t have to wait for Father’s Day to make any of these crafts. They would be great birthday gifts or Grandparent’s Day gifts.
The first part of the craft event was bird house painting. The houses and paint can be purchased at any craft store and kids love decorating them. The brighter the colors the better.
After they painted and it dried (they painted one week and decorated the next) they stamped ink designs on their houses. We put old t-shirts on the kids to protect their good clothes.
The older kids decorated mugs and then they took them home and baked the design on.
The Superman candy bars were a hit with all the men at church (and the kids). Just don’t forget and leave the Hershey bars in the car like I did. Hershey bars turn into syrup in 90+ degree heat!
This is one of the children’s Sunday school teachers helping two of the girls wash up. The kids love making crafts and even if it’s messy, it’s worth it!
The look of pride on the faces of the children as they carried their bird houses to dad and gifted the candy bars to the men at church was priceless.
How was your Father’s Day and what did you do to celebrate?
