It’s Faithfully Fun Friday at NanaHood and while there is NOTHING fun about breast cancer, Tiffany has found a creative way to say “We care and we want to share with you!” Thanks, Tiffany!

Our Thoughts Are With You Always

Going pink during the month of October gets everyone’s attention. Seeing pink makes us all aware of how precious life is and how dangerous cancer can be. Pink says, ” We are thinking of you. You are not forgotten. You are not a statistic.”  Women (and men) with breast cancer are our friends, our sisters (or brothers), our moms, our aunts. We recognize them for the warriors they are. We admire them for their courage. We commend them on their spirit.

It is such a special thing for anyone to know that someone else is thinking of them. To know that omeone they may not even knows, is praying for them, praying for a cure. Once again Faithfully Fun is joining up with Nanahood to raise awareness.

There was such a wonderful response over last week’s giveaway we are doing it again! We want to get the word out for everyone to “Think Pink!” And what better way that with free stuff. This week we will be giving away one Pink Ribbon Butterfly Pin as a “we are thinking of you,” reminder.

We all love to be thought of and there are a couple of special verses in scripture that I always find so uplifting and endearing.

“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.” Psalm 139:17-18

“Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.” Psalm 40:5

The Lord thinks of us often! So many times that we could not number the thoughts he has toward us. That is so wonderful tho know that we are not forgotten by Him. He hears our every cry, counts our every tear. He is with us. And during this month especially, know there are so many others out there thinking of you too! Hurray for Thinking Pink!
