Blue Ridge Mountains
This week we are visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains and I’m loving it. I started my day with a cup of coffee out on the deck. This is the view from the cabin where we are staying.
Later in the day we drove to a little town and did some window shopping. I was in love with the red boots until I saw the price tag….$500.
This sign was outside a restaurant where we had lunch. Since we are in the mountains I think we are safe from hurricanes but the sign was funny so I made a picture of it anyway.
I found a sweet shop where I drooled over some cupcakes but managed to resist them. I found some more boots I liked in a different shop. I don’t know why I am so infatuated with boots lately, but I am. Which pair do you like best? And if you go to the mountains you have to watch out for bears. This is my cousin Martha and I hanging out with the only two brown bears I ever want to be this close to! This is a blog hop. Link up and leave me a comment…pretty please!
I know….but I really wanted them…I really did! Didn’t get them, but wanted them. Thanks for commenting!
It looks like you had a lot of fun in the mountains. I love boots too, but $500 for a pair?? That is ridiculous. Have a terrific day!
