Wishing You a Peaceful Easy Feeling- RIP Glenn Frey
A few years ago my husband and I were able to go to an Eagles concert. We splurged on tee-shirts and snacks, made lots of pictures and had a great time. You can read about our Eagles adventure here. I’m so glad we did because today on the way home from town I heard that Glenn Frey had died. 67 years old seems like too soon for his music to be silenced.
I loved all their songs on all their albums and the amazing thing is I STILL remember them. For someone who can’t remember what I had for lunch yesterday, the fact that I can still sing their songs is simply AMAZING!
Every song brings back a memory and every memory is one I cherish. These were the songs of my youth. They were the sound track of my life. I loved their music then and I love it even more now. Eagles music will always be alive in this house. RIP Glen Frey. There will definitely be a heartache all over the world tonight.
Were you an Eagles fan? Link up and leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you.
Yes, and the band won’t be the same ever again. Thanks for commenting Michelle!
Agreed!
Amen! Thanks for stopping by and commenting friend!
Yes, he did! Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it!
Love Hotel California and all their hits. Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it, I really do!
And mine as well…thanks for commenting!
Mine too Alissa!
Takes away from the acting and musical world, doesn’t it? Best to you Mary!
I agree. 2016 not a good year so far for talented artists!
Lots of talented people to say goodbye too!
Isn’t that the truth? Thanks for stopping by!
I agree, sad. Thanks for commenting!
And I was one of them!
I agree, lots of loss!
I saw them too and am so glad I did!
Me too, Cascia, me too.
I listen to the Eagles and love their music. It was sad to hear that he passed.
Favorite Group of all time! Saw them on the Farewell Tour a couple of years ago. All original members and sounded as good as ever, which is rare. Left at 11:30 and they were still going strong. No opening act. Glenn Frey & Don Henley took to the stage promptly at 8:00 and they were still going strong 3 1/2 hours later. So glad I saw them. Have had the Eagles on a lot the past couple of days!
January has been a terrible month, hasn’t it?
yes, there were a lot of sad people the day it happened!
There are so many great people dying lately. So sad.
Life is not always what we plan or want. It’s sad to have to say goodbye to so many good people.
I love the Eagles, David Bowie, and Alan Rickman, too. Such a sad start to the year.

This has been such a brutal month for the loss of great artists. And he was so young!
I was sad that Alan Rickman passed away this week. I loved him in Sense and Sensibility and then as Snape. It’s sad when we lose people like Alan and Glen.
A lot of greats are passing away this month. 🙁 He certainly added so much to memories that I have.
Yes, I can sing all the song also. And so can my kids. Good memories.
Very sad indeed. I can’t call myself a fan, but Hotel California is one of my all-time favorite songs! I listened to the record non-stop when my parents took me to CA in elementary school.
Very sad news. RIP. The Eagles were great and Frey had some good solo hits. He will be missed.
Agreed – there is definitely heartbreak tonight!
The Eagles were definitely one of the best!
So sad to be at that place where the people who were always there no longer are!
RIP Glen Frey.
The Eagles were a great band.
Very sad news I was a fan of The Eagles RIP Glen Frey his music will live on Take It Easy & Desperado etc ..brilliant 🙂
We are Eagles fans over here. Very sad news. We just read about it this evening. My husband has many of their old and new music. A favorite song of ours is Hotel California and so many we could list. A true legend.
