Little Kids and Bikes Go Together Like Meatballs and Spaghetti

Little Kids and Bikes

Disclaimer: I was gifted a bike of my choice to review but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Many years ago when our twins were little boys they learned to ride a bike without training wheels long before their older siblings did. Maybe it was because they grew more rapidly than the other kids, or maybe it was because they were always extremely active. Probably a little of both, but they loved their bikes.

Fast forward a few decades and the twins are fathers and the fascination with wheels has started for their children.

Like all moms and nanas I want my grandchildren to be safe and to enjoy being outside. Even the littlest grandchildren can handle Early Rider because they created the original Balance Bike.

Since they have 6 different options for our modern kids, there’s something for everyone. Early Rider has crafted several options to grow with kids from as young as 8 months, up until 4 years old. That way, we can take full advantage of their golden developmental window; honing their skills and building their physical and mental confidence to take on anything that life throws at them. Balance Bikes builds the physical and mental confidence that gets kids outside.

Early Rider

My grandson is only 2. He’s coordinated for a 2 year old but not quiet ready for a large bike but he handles his new ride from Early Rider like a pro!

Two-step, restricted steering makes it safe for little ones getting started and gives them more flexibility when they gain confidence.
Our wooden balance bikes are made with our own marine-grade Super Ply, which makes them more durable.
Lightweight aluminum rims and wide tires provide comfort and stability.
Multiple saddle heights means the bike grows with your rider.
Early Rider launched its first balance bike, the Classic, in 2006. Hundreds of thousands of kids around the world have learned to ride on an Early Rider over the past 20 years.

Poppa’s Review of Early Rider

When you order a bike from Early Rider it comes in a box. Over the years my husband has become a master of putting together toys, first for our children and now for our grandchildren. When he saw the box and I told him it was a bike he looked at me like, “You gotta be kidding me.” After he opened it he had it put together in under 5 minutes and gave it a 5 Star review!

“That was the easiest thing you have ever had me put together!” he said.

The Grandson Review

He calls it his “dirt bike” and loves it! Can’t you tell? Visit Easy Rider and find the perfect bike for your young riders. Foster the love of being outside and active!

FYI-This photo was made without a helmet because I wanted a good picture of the pure joy on his face but helmets are always recommended for safety!
