Monkeys on the Bed

Monkeys on the Bed

I am so blessed to have all my grands close by. This weekend I had a house full of them. Several spent the night and it was so much fun.

Oldest granddaughter holding the youngest. Aren’t they the sweetest?

Someone left Micky out on the couch and Bo made him a pillow!

Here are me and the little monkeys on the bed. So glad my oldest granddaughter agreed to snap this picture!

We had a birthday party at the farm for two of the littles who missed parties due to the virus. Brutus, the dog, wanted his picture made too!

The kids had a water balloon fight and these two posed for a quick snapshot. They are best friends forever.

This little cutie had a great time. She thinks she’s as big as the older girls and tries to do everything they do.

More birthday party fun! It was such a good weekend but I confess that I am a tad bit tired this morning!

How can a nana ever say no to smiles like these?

This is how birthday boy spent his night. He got a new pole and tackle box and loved trying it out! The only grandchild missing this weekend was Chandler. We miss you Chan!

  1. So glad you got to spend time with all of them! Happy belated birthday to them!

  2. I had a birthday too on the 13th, but my grandchildren are all grown… one is going into high school another wants to stay home and play with his friends and there’s no little girls anymore either, so my daughter came over with her eldest & she’s 19. My other daughter lives in Missouri & my eldest son has a daughter, but she has a boyfriend so I got HB calls from all who stayed home, but I did have a grand day anyway! You sure look like you did with your grandchildren. Thanks for sharing! Woo Hoo what a grand place.

  3. Thank you so much Pat! I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment. So glad you got to be with your granddaughter to celebrate your birthday! Birthday blessings to you both!

  4. I wish you were closer to them too Lisa. Stay safe and I so enjoyed your post. I gave you a link on a post I wrote. Have a great week!

  5. Precious kids! Precious family. And, sweet doggies. I grew up with cousins, but my kids don’t have any. I have told them that when they get married and start having kids, they will make cousins for each other’s kids. lol

  6. Oh, such fun!!! I love that your grandkids all seem to love each other so much! I remember when my own kids were young; they loved spending the night together at my mom’s house and playing together. I wish my granddaughters lived closer so we could do that more often. As it is, we’re on the road a lot back and forth to their house, but it’s so worth it. 🙂

  7. What a blessing! I hope I live long enough to enjoy grandparenthood! So happy for you that you get to enjoy the grandkids and that they live nearby!

  8. Precious children!! So cute, handsome, and beautiful !!

Can’t get over how much Ana has grown and changed!

  9. What a wonderful combined birthday celebration! Your grandchildren looked so happy to be together and to be with you. I know how hard the separation has been because of the virus. We finally had family gatherings this week to celebrate a granddaughter’s birthday and my birthday–it felt like normal times again even though we know we still have to be careful with nonfamily members to keep social distance.
