My Brother’s Birthday

I only have one sibling so I couldn’t miss my brother’s birthday! And what a birthday it was! His wife, Kelly, cooked enough food to feed the University of Kentucky Wildcats after a game! If I cooked for a month I don’t think I’d come up with so much food. Everything was delicious and the best thing, of course, was seeing so many friends and family members.

I’m not sure why this photo is grainy, but this is my brother and me. Love him dearly!

The three “discovered” a secret room at my brother’s house. They loved playing in it.

This is my sweet sister-in-law. She’d been in the kitchen all day. I don’t know how she was still standing!

This is my friend Julie, who stays in Tennessee most of the time. Miss seeing her and so glad we got to visit!

My grandson was so fascinated with this candle. He refused to let go of it!

Personalized socks

And my other favorite gift was a pair of socks he got with his Jack Russell’s picture on it. Besides being so cute they were also good quality socks. Will he wear them? Of course he will! He’s crazy about his dog.

You can get a pair with your grandchild’s pet’s picture on it and give them to your grands for Christmas. I guarantee they will love it!

  1. I so love family gatherings. My extended family tries to get together once a month or so. We haven’t done as well since our parents have passed on, but we don’t let too much time go by before we get together. It’s precious to spend time together.
