Friends are the icing on the cake of life. I’m so blessed to have so many gal pals. Right now I’m in Chicago with one of them and even though it’s a working trip for my friend (Cousin Martha) we are still having a good time.

Not too long ago I spent a weekend with some friends on a houseboat. We reconnected….recharged our batteries….and caught up on new events in each others lives, as well as shared memories of days gone by. We love each other and love being together. Yes, it takes effort to arrange all our schedules where we can all get together but it is always worth it.
