All birthdays are special but today is my oldest granddaughter’s 13th birthday! I remember getting a card from my grandfather on my 13th birthday and on the envelope he had written “Happy Birthday Teenager.” He normally didn’t give me a birthday present so that was a big deal.

This is our granddaughter and oh how blessed we are to have her in our lives! She’s kind, sweet, thoughtful and a joy to be with.

And coming up pretty soon (in just a few days. Is my birthday (not as excited about mine as my granddaughters) but hey, I’m happy to be here.

And then as if that wasn’t enough…..it’s NanaHood’s birthday too! That’s right. We are 9 years old this month.
