Gardens of the World and Fun Memories

This was at Garden of the Worlds and was modeled after the French Gardens of King Louis XIV.


A friend and I went to California for a conference and while we were there I was able to visit my son and his girlfriend. It was a great getaway. All this week I will be sharing things about the conference I attended but this post is just some fun pictures of Gardens of the World and the resort where we stayed.

Every trip has to have a selfie, doesn’t it? Do you think my son looks like me?
This was made at the Santa Monica Pier. Interesting place for sure!
Taking care of these gardens has to be a full time job for many.

Then Melinda and I went to our conference. We didn’t get to swim but the pool looked inviting.

Her idea was more fun.
It truly was a beautiful place.
And I want to go back. Wouldn’t you?

  10. What a pretty place! You can your friend pop with color. I love teal with red orange, or pink. I’m glad your son got to go with you! I can most certainly see a resemblance.

    I often wonder which kid looks more like me. Some say the older one resembles my husband more, and the younger one is more me. It’s true to their personalities as well! Once we came out of a store, and a a lady said they both looked like both of us.
