The Cat I Don’t Want
First, let me make it perfectly clear that I do like cats. When I was young I had many, many cats for pets. This post is not written about a real cat…it’s about fake cats.
A Strange Sounding Cat
I don’t know much about phone apps. I do well to learn the basics, but I’m not afraid to try. One day I saw my granddaughter playing with my daughter’s phone and she was talking to a cartoon cat. The cat repeated whatever my granddaughter said.
A few days later I was keeping my baby granddaughter and she was fussy so I downloaded the kitty app to try and amuse her.
Fast Forward a day later…..
My purse starts meowing.
That’s right. The app I downloaded was meowing and there was something flashing saying that my cat needed to to go the bathroom.
I couldn’t get the cat to stop meowing so I played with the phone until I figured out how to make the cat go to the bathroom. All the while I am mumbling to myself, “This is crazy. I don’t want a fake cat that requires any maintenance!”
My older granddaughter discovered I had the cat app and now she begs to play with it. As soon as I can figure out how to get it off my phone I’m giving my cat away. Go ahead PETA, arrest me. I am not taking that cat to the bathroom again!
Lol! She loves Tom the cat! That’s too funny!
