My husband and I are members of Sam’s Club and we have shopped there for years. Buying groceries and supplies there helps us save money and in this day and time, who couldn’t use some extra cash? Sam’s Club also has all the grandchildren’s favorite snacks and treats and this nana always keeps a stash of goodies in her pantry for her grandchildren. (Shhhh….don’t tell their parents!)

I love being a grandmother and spending time with my grandchildren. Our grandchildren love going to our farm to visit the animals and having sleep overs at Nana’s and Poppa’s house. Being a grandparent is awesome. What isn’t awesome is not being healthy. I do my best to take good care of myself and one of the ways I do so is to get a flu shot.

It’s That Time of Year

Tonight I grabbed my purse and keys and we took a trip to Sam’s Club and I was reminded of why I love this time of year.

I can’t believe it’s fall already. I love everything about autumn, including the cooler weather and the beautiful fall flowers! The brightly colored mums were the first thing I saw when we got to the store.

There was no one close by (so I took my mask off) then I had my husband snap a photo while I admired the flowers and tried to decide which color to purchase.

Another thing I do every fall is get a flu shot and as long as we were at Sam’s Club I decided to go to their pharmacy and get one. (FYI-You don’t have to be a member to get the flu shot there!)

They couldn’t have been nicer or more friendly! Getting my vaccination at Sam’s Club is yet another great way to save money because it’s so economical. Saving money and taking care of my health….now that’s a winning combination!

I take my role as a grandparent seriously and I want to do everything I can to protect myself and my grandchildren from the flu. If you haven’t gotten your flu shot yet then go see the nice folks at Sam’s Club. You will be glad you did!
