Pinterest is the Visual Information Center
Pinterest is the best visual information center. No matter what it is you are looking for you can find it there. Just in case you still don’t understand the site is a visual bookmarking site. You can find hundreds of different categories.
The fun thing about Pinterest is you get to “see” what you are looking up and then you save it to your board so you can go back and look at it again. I can’t remember when I first discovered Pinterest but I love it.
It’s great for recipes and I actually have three boards about food. One is called “Food and Recipes” and that’s where I pin desserts, casseroles, etc. Another is called “Nana’s Crock Pot” because I love making one dish meals and there’s less mess to clean up. And then I have a board called “Blueberries Rock” because we have a blueberry farm. You can even make your own pins. Here’s one I made for my favorite muffin recipe!
And here’s one I made for a post I did a few weeks ago.
Whatever you interest, you can find it on Pinterest! It’s fun. Informative and free. What are you waiting for? Get started pinning! If you have questions just ask me and I’ll be glad to help.
Check out all my boards by clicking here, besides the recipe boards I think you will enjoy the Ideas for Grandchildren, Books for Grandchildren and Quotes! Follow any of the boards you have an interest in, or follow them all! I promise you will have fun and learn lots while exploring!
Audrey, I’m still learning! Just enjoy!
I love pinterest. Probably don’t use it to its full potential but do what I know.
I agree Indah! My only problem is spending too much time on it!
Good for you Cindy! Once you get the hang of it you will really like it and the muffins are awesome! Have a great weekend!
I’m not comfortable with Pinterest, but this post encourages me to give it a chance. I’ll check out your recipes. I like the pins you made, and I think I need to try those blueberry muffins! 🙂
I love pinterest as well, Nana. So colorful, informative and fun!
