If The World Ends Tomorrow
I’m a Google fan. If I want to know something, I Google it. After I heard the prediction that the world will end tomorrow I went to Google to see what other people had to say about this. I’ll save you the trouble of doing the same thing. None of the articles I read believed it was going to happen.
And I don’t believe it either, but not for the same reasons as the articles I read.
For years I have been enjoying a website called Heartlight. These nice folks even have a link to NanaHood on their site. I checked this morning to see if they had an article about the end of the world and they did. It says what I believe and if you would like to read it, just click here The Thief in the Night.
Jesus came once and He is coming again and if it were to be tomorrow I wouldn’t do anything different today than I do every day. That’s what being a Christian is all about. Knowing you are a sinner but doing your best to live a good life.
I tell my family how much I love them every day. I let my friends know I love them, maybe not every day, but frequently, so that when my time on earth is up they know they were loved. I pray. I go to church. I believe and I do the best I can to walk in Jesus’s footsteps. If I stumble and fall down, He picks me back up and encourages me to keep going so that when the end does come (whenever it does) I don’t have to be afraid. In fact, I will rejoice because my journey is over. It will be time to go home.
May the good Lord bless each of you and keep you in His care. If you have any questions or comments about today’s post, I welcome them. As always, thank you for visiting me at NanaHood!
A funny story… My mother tells that when she was a little girl she heard a sermon about the end of time and that nobody would know when it would be, so she said every morning she would get up and say “the world will end today” so that it wouldn’t happen, because God said nobody would know when that day is!
I just love meeting new folks and making new friends from blog hops. I will be visiting you shortly and following from NanaHood!
I understand about the weather. I’m ready to be outside too. Maybe tomorrow…. Hugs back at ya!
Hi Mona, On my way to your place! Thanks for visiting NanaHood and I will follow you back!
Will be visiting you shortly and will definitely be a follower and stop in to chat! Thanks for visiting NanaHood!
Jesus is the only one who knows the time…no human…there is no number trick in the Bible…after studying it for years, I just do not believe that God operates that way. We will know and praise God at the time it happens.
Till then, the blog hop has brought me to your doorstep!! I will be a new follower and would love it if you would follow me and come by for an occasional chat!! Have a great weekend or at least up til 6:00 on Saturday 🙂
Nicely put. I couldn’t agree more. I don’t plan on losing any sleep over this newest “world ending perdiction”. Only God knows when that time will be. Until then, I’m grateful for each day He gives me.
I’m here from: Follow Friday 40 and Over!!
I’m now your newest follower.

I will believe it when Jesus arrives. Am ready to go and hope you are too. I’m enjoying the spring weather. It’s nice outside so gotta go out and see it instead inside looking out like I do at work! Hugs!
Hi! Newly following from Java’s Hop! (at least for a day, anyway! LOL) I’m with you on your theory about this “end of days” nonsense. My 26 year old was worried though. Her dad told her yesterday that she had nothing to be worried about, but she called back today and asked me, Bless her. I think she’s OK now.
I’d love to have you stop by and say hello when you get the chance. Have a great weekend!
~Mrs B
I’m like you, as a Christian I know that no man knows the hour of the Lord. So, what I do today will be no different than yesterday. Should the Lord decide to come tomorrow, then it won’t be because of the prediction made earlier. It’ll be because it’s His perfect timing to remove His children.
Visiting from Java’s ‘Following Friday 40 & Over’ blog hop, as your newest fan,
