Educational Placemats All Grandparents Will Love

Educational Placemats

Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am contacted frequently (at least 3 or 4 times a week) by folks who want me to review their products. Obviously I can’t review them all but when I saw these placemats I fell in love. Why? Because I love learning and watching my grandchildren learn.

Meal Time

At Nana’s house we have several rules. We eat at the table and sit still until everyone is finished. We don’t allow phones or television (except U.K. basketball which is mandatory to watch in this house even if it is supper time)….but this Nana will allow educational placemats !

And these are so cool!

educational placemats
  • Educational placemats can change the mealtime experience
  • They provide visual stimulation, so kids tend to sit still for longer and fuss less about what they’re eating (or not eating!)
  • They act as a conversation-starter and offer learning opportunities in an informal and non-confrontational setting
  • They are bright, colorful, engaging and fun
  • They are easy-to-clean, hard-wearing, child-safe and environmentally-friendly.

Sets of 4

My grand-littles loved them and we had so much fun talking about the different sets.

Some are more simple than others but there is a set for every age and stage.

They are so easy to talk about. You can even make up little games to play with them. I would tell a little story and ask my granddaughter to pick which type of weather went best with the story. She loved it!

This was my grandson’s favorite. I’m guessing after a week he will be able to tell you which states all of his relatives live in and places his mom and dad have been.

The placemats are 100% manufactured in Australia from sustainable and ethical sources, are ISO-certified and completely child-friendly.  I can vouch for the fact that they are easy to clean because I have some very messy (but smart!) grandchildren and the mats wiped right off!

Check out their website at (www.jessieandjade.com) and tell them NanaHood sent you!

  1. I have similar educational placemats. My grandchildren loved them and learned from them. I now have a few geared towards older children which they are also enjoying. I will have to look at this web site to see what they have.
