Drinking and Driving and Holiday Weekends
Drinking and Driving
I’ve read one too many drunken highlights from a concert last night in BG and party plans for what should be a more sacred holiday weekend than it appears it will be for some. Add to this the jests of finding a good lawyer and remembering the judges are off until Tuesday, and this widow of a DUI victim is experiencing a lot of emotions, none of them good.
What you decide to consume is your business. What you allow others to purchase from you is your business. What you allow to happen in your presence at your home, on your boat, or in your venue is your business. HOWEVER, when any one of those things—or a combination of those things—crosses into the possibility of public endangerment, it isn’t funny. It isn’t cute. It is inexcusable.
When you want to have that extra “good” time and are deciding about heading out on the road or in the water, I hope you see these two photos and change your mind.
Statistics on Drinking and Driving
