Do you know what vlogging is?
I’m always behind the times. I didn’t know what blogging was until long after the Internet was flooded with blogs. Now just when I got the blogging thing down, along comes vlogging. Video diaries that you post on your blog. I’m up for almost anything when it comes to writing but videoing myself talking and then posting it for the whole world to see? On Monday morning? Get real!
But in the spirit of being an adventurous nana and because I do my best to keep up with my blogging buddies at 5 Minutes for Mom, here is my first attempt at vlogging. Keep in mind I am answering three questions submitted by someone else. Also keep in mind I filmed myself and even though I am not ready for prime time (technically I think at my age I am past prime time) I did not do retakes. What you see is what you get. (Please be kind with comments or I won’t try this again!)Â Teresa

Thanks for mingling with us. 🙂
Well, I didn’t have much choice. She was 18 and going to do it any way. Have you ever heard the expression “choose your battles” I didn’t fight too hard on that one, but the eye brow ring is another story!
Thanks for the compliment….vlogging is a scary thing for someone who prefers to hide behind a computer and writing as opposed to having their face on the computer and talking!
Loved it! Great job Mom!!!
Aww. This is your first vlog? WAY to go. Perfect. Short and sweet.
You did wonderful.
I agree, poverty is a concern and starving children needs to be addressed. Wow. I have no tattoos either. just my ears pierced.
Thanks for JOINING us on Monday mingle. You were magnificent!
awww. such a sweet wedding story. you’re such a cool mom to actually let your teenage daughter get a piercing other than her ears! lol! great mingling with you, nana. 🙂
LOVE it! I had much rather see and hear you than read about you… you are precious to me!!! Love you!
Well, thank you Glenda! I appreciate that. I learned a few things this morning. Like, stop looking at the ceiling and don’t put the camera so close to my face!
It only took me three hours to do what should have taken one! Oh well, at least I did it!
Great job you brave Nana. I keep sending people to your site & you keep expanding with your technology. Proud of ya girlfriend. Tootsie
