Blueberry blessings
Every Tuesday I participate in Gratituesday and I never run out of things to be grateful for. About one month ago we planted over 7,000 blueberry plants. Since then it’s rained. The sun has been shining (occasionally) and guess what? The bushes are growing!
They won’t produce berries this year, and not many the next year, but the year after that…..we should be up to our eyeballs in blueberries.
There are so many lessons I’ve already learned from our blueberry adventure. It’s been a true joy watching my children work together for a common goal.
Now we watch and we wait and as the bushes grow, so do our dreams. One day years from now if the fates allow and God wills it, our blueberry farm will help my granddaughter’s generation of dreams come true.
Oh what a blessing it is to watch things grow!
WAIT, don’t leave before you read about our Mother of the Year contest! All you have to do to win a queen size quilt for some deserving mom is tell me about her (te****@na******.com) and why she is so awesome. She’ll be thrilled even if she doesn’t win the quilt!

What a wonderful way to remember your brother. Blessings to you Grandma Shelley!
I love to watch things grow too and watching your children work together on a common goal is priceless!
I planted a tree when I lost my brother to cancer. It is not an evergreen so it blossoms out each year just before the anniversary of the day he left us. It is one of my favorite things to watch grow.
