The Faces of Breast Cancer
Sometimes we talk so much about cancer in terms of research, donations, treatments and prevention that we forget the human aspect.
Today I’m focusing on the Faces of Breast Cancer.
These women are friends….
Relatives…..
Childhood buddies….
Co-workers….
Sorority sisters….
These are just a few of my “Faces of Breast Cancer.” I know you have some too. Please take just a moment to read the NanaHood Pledge and “Do Something” about breast cancer. You don’t have to do everything….just pick one thing to do and it will make a difference!
Leave a comment telling me what one thing is you can do to help fight breast cancer (Hint; Click on link above for suggestions) and you might win a pretty pink hand knit hat, made by Char (thank you, Char!) Winner chosen Friday morning. U.S. residents only please.
Thanks Paula, I agree it is important!

At the beginning of the month I posted a blog telling others that they should get a mammogram:

We just were part of a fundraiser for two women at my husband’s work who were diagnosed.
Breast cancer effects so many people.
Definitely an important cause…
Happy WW 🙂

Such an important cause…
We can blog about it!
It’s scary that it affects so many! I’m sure we have all been touched by breast cancer in some way in our lives. Praying for a cure!
