Nana’s Recipe for Crockpot Chicken
Crockpot Chicken
I’m always searching for new (and easy recipes) and I found one that I really loved. It couldn’t be more simple and it was a hit with everyone. I fixed some baked beans, mashed potatoes and corn for sides. The crockpot is my best friend when it comes to mealtime. How about you?
I also like cooking in the crockpot because I use liners and clean up is so easy. Notice how I love things that are “easy”? I tend to be a messy cook and anything I can do to keep the kitchen from looking like a bomb went off in it, I’m all for.
After we ate supper Poppa and our daughter and her children played Candy Land. I loved watching them and hearing the sound of their laughter.
Do you play board games with your children or grandchildren? What is their favorite?
Here’s the recipe for the crockpot chicken….
Nana’s Crockpot Chicken
Four boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 low fat cream cheese
2 packages of Ranch dressing
One package bacon bits or 6 pieces cooked and crumbled bacon
Put chicken in crockpot.
Sprinkle 2 packages of dry ranch dressing mix over it.
Add 2 packages of low fat cream cheese
Sprinkle bacon over the top.
Cook on high for 4 hours.
I shredded the chicken after about two and half hours and stirred it all up. It fed more people that way.
