How to breathe easier

I have confessed to you that I have extremely ugly feet. Now I’m confessing to another flaw (I have enough I could blog about them all the time but I don’t think anyone would want to hear about them). I have horrible sinuses. Actually it’s one sinus passage in particular that gives me problems. The right side of my face has never been right…if you know what I mean.

This winter I have had two sinus infections (not fun). I have a friend and an aunt who both advised me to get a Neti Pot and though I love them both dearly I didn’t run right out to the store and get one because the idea of pouring water up my nose sounded gross.

Last weekend I woke up and could feel the right side of my face burning and I knew I was about to get another infection. So I went to the store and bought a Neti Pot.

It’s the best sixteen dollars I’ve spent in a long time. It isn’t nearly as awful a process as I had imagined and it works! I could feel the difference after one treatment. Now I’m using it at least once or twice a week and I hardly give it a second thought.

I am not telling you this because some company is paying me to advertise on my blog. I’m just telling you because if you have trouble with your sinuses…you need to get one. I promise it makes a difference. And don’t just use it when you have a cold or sinus infection. Use it to PREVENT getting one.

By the way, I got my daughter one too (she inherited her stinky sinuses from me) and she loves it too. Says she is sleeping better than she has in a long time.

Here’s to breathing easier! Blessings to you, Teresa

  1. My son had to use one following sinus / nasal surgery and it really helped.
Will be following you via twitter 🙂

  2. My family are all suffering with nasal/sinus problems terribly this year and I, like you, have put off by the thought of the neti pot lol but maybe I should give it a whirl. Anything is better than the miserable suffering, it’s been the worse year ever for bugs this year.
