10 Things Disney Does Best

Disclaimer-I was given a discount to travel to #DisneySMMC but all thoughts, opinions and memories are strictly my own! 10 Things Disney Does Best I was lucky enough to be invited Disney Social Media Moms Celebration and we visited Disney World and took a cruise on the Disney Dream. What follows are my observations on the 10 things Disney does best. 10. Photo opportunities abound at Disney. If you want pictures with Disney Characters or personalities, there are plenty of them available at all times of the day or night. If you want to be in the picture just ask someone to make it with your camera. That’s what I did with this shot and it turned out great.

9. Cute and quality merchandise. No matter what size you are there are mouse ears to fit you. That goes for clothes, toys and anything else you can imagine. It’s a kid’s dream of what a huge toy story should be like! Another good thing about the merchandise is that there is something for every size.

budget. You don’t have to spend a fortune to satisfy your tiny tots when it comes to toys.

8. The scenery at Disney World is never boring. Each and every hotel has magical views and grounds that are meticulously kept. This was made at Coronado Springs and look at the colors of the trees, the lights on the bridge, the dock for the boats….beautiful!

7. Customer Service. Dinner on our cruise ship was more than just a meal. Our waiter kept my grandchildren entertained and went above and beyond. This was true with the cleaning staff and everyone else we met while at Disney World or on the cruise. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. No one does customer service like Disney.

6. Food. Oh my goodness, do they feed you well on a Disney Cruise and at Disney World! There are more restaurants at Disney World than you could ever eat at in just one visit and every night on the cruise there were excellent choices and when you couldn’t choose….they gave you both!

5. Pools, Lagoons and water! If your child or grandchild loves water (and what kid doesn’t) there is a pool or splash park for you! The staff at our pool had games and dances for the little ones that they absolutely loved. This pool is at Disney Coronado Springs but be sure and check out Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon while you are there too! And of course Disney Cruise ships have unbelievable pools too. My grands wore themselves out the slides!

4.  Always Something New! This summer Toy Story Land is coming to Disney. As a HUGE Toy Story fan I have loved Woody and Buzz Light Year since the first movie came out and I confess, I cried like a baby when I watched Toy Story 3.  Toy Story Land is going to be phenomenal! There’s so much to see and do that I can’t even begin to tell you about it so read for yourself by clicking here.

3. Getting you where you want to go. Want to ride a monorail? You can. Prefer a boat? You can do that too. Bus? They have hundreds. In fact, whatever mode of transportation you want you can find it at Disney. These Minnie Vans are a fun way to get from one place to another while you are at Disney World.

2. The rides. Whether you love roller coasters or teacups, no one has more ways to shake you up, turn you upside down, or spin you around and around than Disney! Every age will find rides they love and want to experience again and again.

  1. Making friends and memories. Whether it’s the waiter on the cruise ship, or one of my blogger friend’s children, by the time we left my grandchildren had new friends and memories that will last a lifetime. 2. They have a service that you call and they pick you up anywhere and drop you off. It’s wonderful! I’m sure you can ask your concierge and they will know. And I hate it Toy Story won’t be open while you are there!

  3. I’m a huge Disney fan. How do you get to ride the Minnie van? I am upset that we will be in Disney right before Toy Story Land opens!

  4. Lots of photos you can get for sure. I have never been. Considering the fact that I live in Nebraska, I don’t know if I’ll make the trip. I can see why people love it there.

  5. It looks like everyone had a great time and I loved the video. That man was a good entertainer for the kids huh? Thank you for sharing your photos they were wonderful. 6. I absolutely agree with all of this! We love Disney and their customer service can not be beat. We once lost a child’s camera and when we filled out the lost and found form we figured it was gone forever but they found it; took a few fun photos around the resort with it, and had mailed it back to our home using express shipping so that it actually beat us home!
