Weekend Golf Cart Ride With a Friend
There’s nothing like a weekend golf cart ride with a friend to revive your spirits and make you feel like a teenager again.
I visited my friend at her house this weekend and just as I got there the sun was going down. It winked at me in between the trees and I couldn’t resist taking a pictures. Once I get started photographing things I can’t stop.
Then we went for a ride on her golf cart and the trees were reflecting on the pond in front of her house. Even though you can’t see us on the golf cart I can tell you that it was a peaceful ride and so much fun. Her dogs kept jumping on and off with us and they enjoyed it too.
There was a cluster of Iris growing and we drove over to it so I could make a picture. My mom grew Iris and they come in so many pretty colors. These are my favorite color.
Just as I was making a picture of the flowers I was photo bombed by my friend’s dog, Clyde. You have too look a little closely to find him. I should have made a picture of Clyde, too, but I didn’t think about it.
This was a pretty purple one that was so much smaller than the others. It’s hard to tell by the photo how tiny it was, but even though it was small it was beautiful.
My friend and I had a good visit and a fun golf cart ride, I hope I get to back to see her again soon. Next time I’ll get some pictures of Clyde and his side-kick, Charlie.
What have you been up to this week? Show me your pictures! This is a blog hop. Link up and tell me about your week.
It’s very relaxing and such a quiet ride. I love it!
Thank you so much and thanks for stopping by!
Yes they do bloom early and I love them. I had never seen them before. Have a great week!
That sounds like a lovely evening!
I have those same mini irises in my garden. They bloom very early for me and I just love the dash of colour.
Beautiful post,
Best regards!
Very pretty pictures of the scenery!
We used to own a golf cart and drive it around a lot at the campground we used to go to every weekend.
Very nice. What a beautiful ride. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful day.
Such amazing photos, I love the Iris, they remind me of my grandmother!
Gorgeous! I’ve seen irises blooming here from my car, but haven’t gotten close to any to photograph yet.
Lovely photos – I grew up in Tennessee where purple iris was the state flower. I do love them.
