Thinking About The Blessings of Friendship
Last Saturday night was the Pink Pajama Party to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It was also the day my church family buried one of our beloved elders. It was a very, very emotional day. I couldn’t have gotten through it without the help and support of my daughter and my friends. The words, “thank you” just don’t seem adequate.
The party was a success in many ways. While we didn’t earn as much money as I had hoped to, we did raise awareness (Thank you Angela!) and we did have a really great time.
The entertainment was awesome! Jessica’s Dance and Tumble Studio performed (little dancers) and they were great. I have a few pictures to share today with the promise of more to come.
I know that our team is probably not going to make it’s goal ($2,000) but I’ve learned so much and next year I plan on putting that knowledge to use.
Until then, won’t you please help us get just a little closer to our goal. Every $5 helps!

No generation deserves breast cancer so let’s get rid of it so that the NEXT generation doesn’t have to deal with it!
What adorable little dancers!
