Shopping at Chico’s

I love Chico’s and I love shopping so when I was allowed to pick out one outfit for free from one of their stores I was thrilled! I took my granddaughter (aka Shopping Diva) who is almost eleven years old with me. She was a great photographer and fashion advisor and I rewarded her with lunch at our favorite restaurant and a small shopping spree of her own.

We arrived at the store on Scottsville Road in Bowling Green, Kentucky on a Monday morning and asked to speak with Catherine.

Not only was Catherine friendly, she was a big help. I described the type clothes I liked to wear and the colors that appealed to me and she went to work picking out several different outfits to choose from.

My granddaughter made pictures of each outfit and gave me a thumbs up or thumbs down. I loved them all but we could only pick one.

I’m going to show you the outfits one at a time and then you tell me which one you would have chosen?

I loved the colors in this one. The blues and the purples were beautiful and I loved the loose fit of the top.

Again, these colors were right on target. This top was a silky material and was made to flow loosely. It felt great and I loved the dramatic shoulder strap on one side and the loose sleeve on the other.

Next we went for a brighter color and neutral pants. The necklace gave it a pulled together look that I really loved.

This outfit caught my eye as I was walking around the store. It felt great and was a fun look. While I loved it, my granddaughter didn’t. It was the only outfit to receive a thumbs down from my granddaughter, but I didn’t agree with her.

Next we decided to go back to the bright colors with a light lace jacket. The necklace was added and we thought it looked great. The granddaughter gave this one two thumbs up.

After trying on all these gorgeous outfits we chose the last one. Not only did it feel great on, I absolutely fell in love with the jacket. I can wear this outfit with or without the jacket, replace the necklace with a scarf and have a completely different look.
