Mac and Cheese…Please!

It’s December. What does that mean at your house? Probably the same thing it means at mine. Too much to do! My lists get longer every day as I run harder and faster trying to accomplish what I already should have had done by now. 

Even on our busiest days it’s so important to slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy special moments.

Family Time

Today we had several special moments that I wouldn’t have missed for the world. We ate lunch at my aunt’s house and the house was filled with food, laughter and lots of cousins. My aunt hadn’t put up her tree yet so everyone pitched in and put her tree up for her.

My Aunt Roberta is a wonderful cook and she prepared a delightful meal for us. She cooked everything for us-except the mac and cheese. I brought Stouffer’s New Mac Cups and boy were they a hit!

It’s the same Stouffer’s Mac & Cheese we have always loved but now it’s in a convenient cup. The Mac Cups, which come in 2-packs, are available in 3 different flavors; Classic Mac & Cheese, White Cheddar & Bacon Mac and Cheeseburger Mac. I took the Cheeseburger Mac and the Classic Mac and Cheese to my Aunt’s house. Both flavors were given a big thumbs up!

Take a look at the pictures and I think you will be able to tell how much the kids (and the adults) loved it!

This is Austin. He loves Stouffer’s Classic Mac and Cheese and now he is a fan of Stouffer’s Cheeseburger flavor!

This is Jonathan. He is a mac and cheese fan, too. Vegetables, not so much!

This little darling is Madi. She giggled through most of lunch (and the Stouffer’s Mac and Cheese Cup) and after eating immediately ran off to play with her grandmother’s new kitten.

This is my cousin, Martha, who is a kid at heart! In the background is my Aunt Roberta. Can you tell how much we all love food and being together?

Finally, remember Jonathan? The one who doesn’t like vegetables? Notice his plate isn’t empty, but his Stouffer’s Mac and Cheese Cup is!

These small cups are so quick and easy to fix (ready to eat in 3 minutes). Not only are they a great addition at meal time, they are also mini-meals for busy moms and nanas (like me).

Family meals and family time is precious. In the blink of an eye the kids grow up and before you know it your are a nana like me! This week and next will be super busy. I still have shopping to do and I haven’t wrapped one single thing, but at some point during the week I’m going to take a time out of the holiday madness. I’m going to put my feet up, turn on the Christmas tree lights, listen to Michael Bublé sing Christmas carols, and have a Stouffer’s Mac and Cheese mini-meal. I deserve some me time, and I’ll bet you do too!

Take a mini-vacation…have a mini-meal. You’ll be glad you did.
