Grandma and Me in the Kitchen Having Fun!

Grandma and Me
My grandmother spent a lot of time in the kitchen and she was a great cook. She was also the most patient person in the world and if any of the grandchildren wanted to help her, she let us.
I don’t spend as much time cooking as she did, but I love doing things with my grandchildren. However, it’s not always easy to find something they are excited about doing.
Enter “Grandma and Me” Activity Kits from Little Bridges.
Each kit is designed for 4 to 7 year olds (one of mine was 8 and she loved it).
It came with….
* Easy-to-follow instructions * A read-aloud storybook * A keepsake potholder for Grandma * A keepsake apron for Grandchild * Fabric paint for personalization * One-of-a-kind Activity Recipe Journal with conversation cards, journal prompts, and recipe page
This fun filled activity box was a hit with two of my grand-littles on a cold, gloomy day. I took it with me to their house and they were thrilled to see me and the box.
We opened the box together and I pulled out an apron. They were both so excited. To my surprise my grandson claimed it before his sister could. “I love aprons, Nana!” he said.
Included in the box was this delightful book entitled, What if you were a chef at the zoo? We read it together and gave it 5 stars. Both grandchildren agreed they did not want to be a chef at the zoo, especially when it came time to feed the snakes!
My grandson wrote his own name and was so proud of his apron.
The box came with everything you see in these pictures (except the cute grandchildren). I really appreciated the easy to understand instructions.
It was a fun way to spend the afternoon with some little folks who are very dear to me.
Check out my new friends at Little Bridges and pick out something for your grandchildren. If they enjoy it half as much as mine did it will be money well spent!
