Fun Blue Shoes and a Bright Blue Dress

It has been a day and a half already, but I remembered it was Frugal Fashion Friday when I pulled out these fun ruffled slides to add some zip to this simple sundress for a dinner I’m attending in a bit. I usually don’t have a lot of luck ordering online, but from time to time—especially with Amazon Prime free shipping—I will spin the wheel and see what happens. I have decided that using the size charts is a MUST and that when I find my size I add one to it before ordering. This dress is an XL on my typically L bod, but that’s okay…it fits! For $30, this is a good addition to my quick and easy summer grab-and-go clothing, and I can throw a cardigan on with it for those cooler evenings and for church.

The shoes are my extra fun find this week. I had a few minutes to spin my wheels waiting for a friend one day, so I popped into the Goodwill Store up the road. These brand new shoes met me at the door! They were $4.99, and I had a fun shorts outfit in mind when I bought them. Even after last year’s basketball season, UK blue anything is hard to pass up in this state, so $5 seemed like a good deal for sure. I found the shoes online for about $35, so it’s like I bought the shoes and got the dress free! Pretty good deal if you ask me! Now it’s back to the drywall dust palace! I’m hoping to be able to access my closet by this time next week. Cross your fingers for me!
