Down on the Farm

Because we are all home waiting for COVID-19 to go away I’ve been spending more time with the animals. They are lovable and aren’t the least bit worried about anything.

Our Babydoll sheep are loving the spring weather and sunshine…..but this one is loving the hay!

The goats are always the first to the gate to see if they are getting fed. They are also the most demanding! If they can’t get to the feed they will push the other goats out of the way until they can get a bite to eat!

Bella the horse waited patiently for her feed!

I wish we could all be as relaxed as Bailey. She loves to have her tummy scratched and loves to nap. Hope you all are having a good week and staying home!

Wash your hands, people. Then wash them again!

Virtual hugs from my house to yours!

  1. Thank you so much Pat and yes, I miss them. Gives me a deeper appreciation of the kisses and hugs I took for granted.

  2. I know your farm animals are keeping you busy– a very good thing/ Missing the grandchildren is hard but we can do this! Stay healthy!

  3. Bailey must be a wonderful comfort right as well as all the other animals. From what I see on bike rides, wildlife seem to be wondering what’s going on with all these people encroaching on their territory and pets act like they’re loving all the walks but want more contact. I say this after getting knocked off my bike by a young golden retriever who just had to meet me.

  4. I think animals are like God wants us to be, loving, trusting, obedient (most of the time). They depend on their master and trust that all will be well. We humans need to have the same attitude.

  5. It’s refreshing to see these precious animals here, Teresa. Thank you for sharing them with us. I’m glad they are oblivious to the craziness we are experiencing. Virtual hugs to you, too!
