Creepy Stuffed Animals
We spent a week in the mountains last week with my cousin and her husband. It was a great week and I have hundreds of pictures I could share with you, but I went through them and picked out just a few. We went in a little country store in the middle of nowhere and found lots of interesting (weird) things. We have raccoons in Kentucky but I’ve never seen one do what this little guy is doing. There were all sorts of stuffed animals and for a couple hundred dollars, you could take one home with you. There was just something creepy about these little critters. Â This stuffed moose wasn’t creepy because as far as I could tell he had never been alive. Once stuffed always stuffed….and Mr. Moose’s friend, well that’s my handsome goofy husband and he’s definitely not creepy even though he has a wounded paw. He smashed his finger and had to have surgery. Â Now he has 2 screws and some pins in his finger (my husband, not the moose). Again, more of the creepy stuffed animals. I saw this sign and burst out laughing….I love nap time! These two little cuties are cousins. Aren’t they sweet? This is my cousin Martha’s husband, Glenn, sitting in front of a huge outdoor fire place. Wish I had one of these in my back yard. I couldn’t leave without showing you one last creepy animal. Believe me, there were lots more. Hope you have a great week and that you don’t run into any of these creepy stuffed animals on Halloween night! This is a blog hop! Please link up and leave a comment. I really want to hear from you!
Thank you so much for letting me know! I will!
Thank you for linking up on our Wordless Wednesday post last week. We are excited to feature your adorable photo of the hugging cousins on today’s post. We hope you come by and visit this week to share more of your WW moments.
Thanks Cascia!
Taxidermy is a little creepy. It looks like you had a great time. I love your photos. Enjoy the rest of your day!
Thanks for stopping by and blessings to you!
Thank you for the sweet comment about my husband. He is doing well. Just getting tired of being one handed! My first experience with a stuffed animal was an owl at my grandparents house. I was terrified of it as a child. Never liked stuffed animals after that!
I like the moose the best of all the animals because he hadn’t been alive!
Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I really appreciate it!
Thank you Jessica! They are sweeties!
Aw, such an adorable hug… 🙂 Lovely capture! 🙂
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
lovely photos.I specially like the pic of lovely cousins…
Yes,true.these animals look creepy!
That giant moose is hilarious!
I totally agree! They are creepy! I have an uncle in Texas who hunts and stuffs his “prizes.” I used to tease him about it when I was a teenager. I’d especially tease him about his vicious looking raccoon. The little guy was probably minding his own business when my uncle shot him, but the pose tells a different story. 🙂 I hope your hubby is healing well and not feeling too much pain. He certainly looks well in the photo. Sending a prayer your way for both you. Be blessed.
HAHAHAHAHA
Oooh, I wish I had one of those fireplaces, too! But definitely not the creepy critters. *shudder*
Thanks for visiting and commenting!
Supposedly taxidermy is an art. I think it’s just creepy!
I agree, Teresa…they are creepy. I’ve never understood why people want to kill and stuff animals so they can look at them. I love animals and don’t eat or shoot them.
Love the raccoon, Very cool.
I have mixed emotions about this. Creepy yet cool. So lifelike and yet so eerie. Also, I need to find me one of those signs. LOL
They are cute in a way and then you realized they are once alive =P
Thanks for sharing. Interesting place!
Aww! I liked your photos especially that hug heheh!
Have a spookytastic week
