A Pooh, A Turtle and a Penquin -

I have spent the last few days trying to being creative. It is so much fun to see something take shape and go from raw materials to something fun and recognizable. This week I decided to venture out for one more Christmas ornament for the year. I had thought of saving it for next year but I couldn’t wait. Luckily one of my favorite stores (Hobby Lobby) had just what I needed to get started: black ornaments.

Why does anyone want to decorate with black ornaments? Because you can turn them into penguins! I think they turned out kind of cute, what do you think? With their bow and necklace or hat and bow tie they are all decked out for the holidays!

I know they aren’t made of ribbon but they were still fun to work on. I have also had fun working on a couple of new hair clips to take with me this weekend: a turtle and everyone’s favorite overstuffed bear! There is just so much you can do to be creative and that is my challenge to you this weekend, be creative: make something, write something, draw something. Whatever works for you, your lifestyle, your talents, just have fun and be creative this weekend then share with us what you made! We would love to see it!!
